Better than the first, I like it. They always end concisely. Each book so far has a mystery or challenges that's solved pretty quick/without much hassle within last 2 or 3 chapters. The main true plot is her secret identity. I think there is supposed to be a budding romantic interest in Mr. demon, but outside of some flirty banter its not in this book either. Slow (decrepit) burn. Like I wouldn't categorize this as para rom, more like fantasy-mystery.
