For the first time since coming to Rose Briar Hill, life is good, relationships are blooming and for the most part, everyone’s happy.

I should have known something was on the horizon.

When something seems too good to be true, it’s normally because it is.

Of course I only got that small window of time before life decided to stir shit up again.

Will I ever be able to just be happy? Or is the universe determined to punish me for no reason.

Just when we think one problem is solved, another one arises.

One thing after another.

I just want to go to school, get good grades, love and be loved.

My relationship with Kai is solid but the more I get to know the Cross brothers, I’m starting to realize there’s a lot more hurt and pain underneath their strong exterior.

I want to be the one to make it better, to take that pain away, but the more I try, the more I’m not sure that I’m enough for all three of them.

Will I be able to accept that maybe fate doesn’t want me with all three brothers, or will my heart crash and burn?

One thing I know for sure, I’m not the kind of girl to just give up. I’ll fight where it matters. And if the universe has a problem with that, well f*ck it.
