Moving to a small town was supposed to be my fresh start. Yet it’s hard to move forward when everyone in town is holding a past grudge against your family. Now everywhere I go, I’m met with glares and animosity. The only way I’m going to win them over is by winning the annual Halloween house decorating competition.
Too bad that the man who lives next door is hell-bent on ruining all my plans. He may have the town on his side, but I have something much more powerful: a stubborn streak and a plan of action. If I have any hope of winning, I have to make a deal with this handsome devil that I never saw coming. I’ll be his fake girlfriend to keep the matchmaking mamas away and he’ll help me build a horrifying masterpiece.
