As a woman of status, going to the luxurious Galaxoros Colony should have been a simple matter for Daisy McGillin. She had taken all precautions, even going as far as hiring a private charter on a nondescript merchant vessel to make sure that she arrived safely and discreetly. Waking up from cryogenic sleep to discover that she was the lone survivor on the destroyed vessel didn’t make her day, and the Daranthiki cybernetic mercenary who had turned up on the vessel to strip it for parts wasn’t much better. Especially when he appeared to be inclined to leave her behind to fend for herself.
