She’s my best friend’s little sister and totally off limits.
Ivy is too innocent and pure for a man like me.
She begs me for a job with that sassy mouth of hers.
But a job isn’t what I want her begging for.
I want her begging ‘daddy please’ over my knee.
I want her begging for everything I can give her.
A job is the last thing on my mind.
But when she pouts those ruby red lips I find myself saying yes.
I just signed myself up for a life of purgatory…

Cherishing His Babygirl, the seventh and final book of The Playground series, was about 23-year-old Ivy, a senior in college, and 40-year-old Aiden Cross, the owner of The Playground. After having been stalked, and then attacked, Ivy withdrew from her last semester in college and headed home. Although she had reported her stalker to campus security and the local police, no one believed her when she pointed her finger at her advisor, Professor Lockwood. Rather than staying in school, she returned home to where her brother lived. When Ivy learned that Aiden needed a new assistant at The Playground, she offered to fill the position. After arguing back and forth, Ivy's brother finally convinced Aiden she'd be a good fit for the job, so he said he'd give her a week's trial period. It didn't take long for things to heat up between the two of them. But then Ivy started getting texts, pictures, and messages from her stalker in which he threatened her and Aiden. So she did the only thing she could think to do, and that was quit her job and break up with him to keep him safe. This was an excellent ending to a fantastic series, especially as the series began with a stalker, only to end with a stalker. There was plenty of angst, drama, and spicy scenes, as well as a lot of twists and turns on the rollercoaster ride of emotions. Both main characters were well-developed and mature, with a lot of room for growth. There was only a little bit of push/pull between them, so there weren't too many fights or arguments, other than what would happen between a DD/lg. I gave this a five-star rating, and it will be added to the Keeper for the Shelves collection.
