Carmelo Toscani is a monster.
It’s not his scarred face or the fact he’s an enforcer for the Chicago crime family that makes him one.
It’s the way he uses my body against me.
The way he has me breaking each and every day. He stormed into my safe haven, claiming it for himself.
Claiming me.
But there’s an expiration date because he plans to take my life when he’s gotten everything he wants from me.
When the walls I’ve built begin to crumble, the lines between right and wrong blur, I’m forced to admit that the darkness that seeps from Carmelo calls to me. It begs me to let it in.
