I was minding my own business, exploring this brand new alien world myself and my friends have found ourself on, when Dexx kidnapped me.
The great, scarred warlord is king of the underworld and he says he needs a mate to break the cycle which afflicts him and his crew.
I am not a science experiment.
I am not his mate.
And I won’t fall for his gruff, strangely innocent, charms.
Dexx might think he’s found a solution to the mutation which tortures him, but he knows nothing about mating and nothing about females.
Which gives me an idea. Providing he keeps to the rules I set him, then I might consent to being his mate. The problem for my huge dragon shifter warlord is all the rules prevent him from doing the things he likes.
How long is he going to last before I break him? I’m not sure, but it’s going to be fun finding out!
Only when things start exploding, and his crew start getting hurt, it’s not a game anymore. Dexx needs a way to overcome his mutation, and I know I have to help him.
Even if helping him might mean neither of us survive…
