Harlow Zepplin’s life isn’t going the way it should.
She should have a career by now. Be married. Be someone.
It doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards for her, though.
The same day she loses her job, her out-of-her-league fiancé calls off the wedding, breaks up with her, and kicks her out of the apartment she has called home for years.
Unemployed, with no source of income and no future, Harlow must do the one thing she swore she would never do.
She has to go home.
Worse than that, the only job she manages to find is working for the boy who broke her heart.
The boy who drove her out of Frostproof. The boy who humiliated her in front of everyone, the boy who almost destroyed her relationship with her brother for good.
Worse still, that boy is now a man, and he is gorgeous. Harlow can’t stop looking at him, thinking about all the things she would let him do to her—if it wasn’t for the fact that Dr. Jordan Linhart was also Jordan Linhart, her brother’s best friend, and the reason her life has gone so poorly.
Harlow knows she can’t ever forgive him.
No matter how much he tries.
No matter how much he wants her.
She’ll never be sucked into liking her brother’s bff ever again… not even when he’s wearing his fancy doctor’s coat.
Right?

Sorry didn’t finish the book it was like Harlow gets the shitty life and suddenly she is back and all is forgiven and let’s move into a relationship. Might be a good read for some but it didn’t hold my interest.

For all the angst and heartache of their past it seemed that they got together too quick. Story good but felt a little flat the backwards and forwards from the past to the present provided the back story but for Harlow it was like she never really recovered and then fell into relationship with Jordan.
