“Tell me your secret and I’ll tell you mine.”

TATSUYA
I’ve never met a girl like her before. She’s not some innocent flower that needs protecting. No, she’s a blood-thirsty demon – just like me. I want her body, heart and soul. She completes me. No matter what happens, I’ll do anything to make her stay.
The more time we spend together, the weaker my walls are getting. I’ve been harboring a terrible secret for too long. Will she be the one who can chase the darkness away?

KARINA
I never asked to be the heiress of a Russian mafia fortune, but here I am. Too bad I’ll never be the good mafia wife my father wanted me to be. I am my own master: I call the shots and I keep the cash.
Here in Japan I finally felt free until that Yakuza guy showed up, making my legs weak and my heart tremble like no one ever has. It’s almost as if we were meant to be. Good thing I don’t believe in fate… I think.

one of my favorite series back in the day. This isn't the best book of the lot but really enjoyed the heroine. No shrinking violet, tough bitch, holds her own.
