Who knew that one blind date could lead to dark nights hiding from a man that can’t seem to figure out that I’m not interested.
When he follows me to my work, I know I need more help. He told me about his uncle on our one date and I track him down at his office.
Cannon Reed is totally different from his nephew. Older, stern and a little bit scary. Intensely focused and right now all of that focus is right on me.
Why do I like it so much?

Beth Lange is everything I’m not. Delicate, soft, curvy and so damn innocent. Soft grey eyes so clear it’s like getting lost in a swirl of clouds right before a gentle rain. Fiery red curls that I long to wrap my fingers in and hold her head steady to plunder those perfect peach lips.
I know one thing for sure. She’s mine. I need her like I need my next breath.
I’ll do anything, take out any threat to keep her, claim her and tie her to me for life. I want to see her round with my babies, glowing and happy. That’s my new goal in life…just her and the life that we will have.
