I’m used to dealing with controlling men and I get paid to enjoy their rough handling.
So when Aiden Blackwell buys my time a year in advance, I think I’ve found the perfect client.
But I wasn’t expecting his soft touch, or the lengths he would go to keep me….

Becoming His, Book 3 of the Hired series, was about Brina, a paid escort, and Aiden Blackwell, a wealthy friend of the MMC from Book 1. While on a date that wasn't going well with another woman, Aiden noticed another beautiful woman seemingly on a date. Her looks and laughter captivated him to the point that he took a picture of her and sent it to his personal assistant with the directive that everything that could be learned about her needed to be done as soon as possible. Not long after her date, Brina's boss Emery (FMC from Book 1), visited her and told her that there had been a year-long contract offered for her time. There were some contingencies set in place as to who could cancel the agreement, and what the conditions would be for doing so. Of the three books in this series, I have to say I disliked this one the most. The MMC saw what he wanted, took what he wanted, and forced the FMC to DO what he wanted, whether she knew about it or not. This man controlled every aspect of Brina's life after she signed the contract. He overstepped her boundaries, disregarded her hard limits (not all of them, but most), and just twisted her into doing what he wanted. Yes, I know I already said that, but it bore repeating because of how wrong it was. When Brina realized what Aiden had done, she sent him away, but it wasn't for long. She finally caved to...well, everyone else who chose to convince her that Aiden was "the one" for her. When she finally saw him again, his reasons for doing what he did weren't valid enough for me and, IMHO, she forgave him way too fast. There was more BDSM involved in this story and the drama was a bit higher. The Dom-sub aspect wasn't too bad until he broke her limits. While she never used a safe word (she DID have one), she had her hard limits written into their contract, but he didn't abide by them for long. The trust was broken between them way too often. I only gave this a two-star rating. The MMC, although a nice guy, just overstepped one too many times for my liking.
