I’m inquisitive by nature. I like knowing how shit works and being a few steps ahead of everyone else.
When it comes to puzzles, though, Zara McKinley is one that I can’t seem to solve. Beautiful, smart, kind. Everyone loves her, except her.
She thinks no one can see it. Her sadness. But I see it. I see everything about her. It’s a sadness I want to dive into and drown in right along with her. And if I’m not careful, I may do just that. Which is why I stay as far away from her as I can get.
