Altitude Adjustment by Michaela Cole

I’ve always been a bit socially awkward. What can I say? I’m a writer, not a talker. But nothing quite compares to drunkenly outing my feelings for my best friend’s older brother—and the subject of my lifelong infatuation—right to his face…and then ghosting him.
And my brilliant plan to avoid the whole situation until the end of time is going quite well. I’ve managed to evade Phoenix Kennedy and his stupidly perfect face for several months now.
That is, until he unexpectedly shows up to his family’s vacation home, where I’m staying to relax and write my hiking article.
And just because fate is a fickle beast, it seems he and I will be sharing a bed for the duration of our stay.
Is it possible to physically die of humiliation? I guess I’ll soon find out…
