He’s a tattoo-covered bad boy with a sly smile on those sculpted lips and firm, strong hands that make me melt. And oh yeah, did I mention that we share a bedroom?
It’s not my fault that my best friend moved out. Gwyneth got a once in a lifetime opportunity to go abroad, and that left me in a lurch. I had to find a roommate fast, otherwise I was going to be out on the street with nowhere to turn.
Enter Ross Ranger.
The man’s gorgeous, with devilish blue eyes, charcoal hair and heavenly tattoos swirling up and down his forearms and chest.
One day, he tells me that one of the tattoos has a meaning …
… because he’s gotten my name drawn over his heart.
What?!?!
Has Ross been craving me all this time, and I didn’t know?
Suddenly, everything gets a lot more tangled because we’re bed buddies …
… but what happens if I want something more?

About That Evening, Book 3 of the Naughty Relations mini-series, was about 31-year-old Ross Ranger, a professional tattoo artist, and 21-year-old Alexa Andrews, a junior in college. When Alexa's roommate got the opportunity for an immediate chance to study abroad, she was left with no one to help her pay the rent on her two-bedroom apartment. So she put an ad up for an "open house" that would help her find a new roommate. A bunch of wild options came through, but she turned them all down...until the final knock of the day rapped at her door. Ross had been rooming with one of his co-workers and BFF for a while, but like Elexa, he was hit with a sudden change. His roommate's girlfriend wanted to move in, but only if Ross moved out. His buddy gave him only a week's notice to vacate his room. Ross hit up several places, but none were appealing. He had one final room to check out, and he was afraid of what he'd find since it was listed by a college student. However, when he saw Alexa, he was enthralled, and they both agreed for him to sign the lease. For the first week of sharing the apartment, Alexa had done everything she could to avoid Ross. But he wasn't the best roommate in that he would invite a crew of his tattoo friends over without telling her of his plans, and the noise level wasn't conducive for studying, so she ended up going somewhere else to do it. Side Note: Ross wasn't celibate before meeting the Alexa. In fact, he'd had a one-night stand with a stranger the night before he met her. He was so drunk he couldn't recall her name, and the girl even got his name wrong. The second week, Ross had one too many beers again, but this time he ended up having sex with Alexa...without a condom. After the spiciness was over, they talked and he offered a "just friends but hook up when it's convenient" scenario with her, but then it was downplayed by Alexa as "let's see what happens". The FMC was given almost a dual personality. First, she came across as the"shy, innocent" type, but whenever they had a spicy scene, she was all "put it in, big boy" seductress type. The two personalities didn't suit her. The author should have given her one or the other. Side Note: I was offended by how the author depicted the homeless as junkies. Not all homeless people are junkies who spend their time at the library getting high. Many people who are homeless spend their time at the library because it's the ONLY FREE place to look for jobs online or in the want ads, and to hopefully find a home. Unfortunately, there was more wrong with this story than right. Oh, I enjoyed the fact that the MMC wasn't rich, that he was a tattoo artist living paycheck to paycheck, and just your general "run of the mill" blue-collar worker. I liked that the FMC didn't care and did everything she could to fit into his world. But the rest of the story...the tone o it was just off. I couldn't give it more than a two-star rating.

It started off well... The sex scenes read like they were written by a teenage boy who reads too many Penthouse and Hustler stories.
