Selena is a disgraced fae warrior exiled from her unit and shunned by her family. She journeys to the town of Hope to drink from its magical well. If the legend is true, it will break the curse that has ruined her life.

Vampire and mayor of Hope, Ben Whitlock remembers when the town was named Whitlock and not overwhelmed with humans looking for their fated soul mates. There’s nothing in that well for a vampire, except disappointment. Having resigned himself to a familiar loneliness magnified by the holiday season, Ben is surprised by his attraction to the new fae in town. She reminds him of the sun that he hasn’t seen in centuries—bright, shining, and warm.
After sipping from the well and then almost getting hit by a car, Selena decides to give up and leave town. But on her way out, she saves a handsome vampire from being staked. When he offers her a job through the holidays as his bodyguard, she’s happy not to spend them alone. But more mishaps plague Selena and the broody vampire that she’s trying hard not to fall for.

When all seems lost and the night is at it’s bleakest and darkest, Ben and Selena need to put their faith in that magical well one more time in order to save the town, their friends, and perhaps even their hearts’ desires.
When Christmas comes around, everyone has their own special wish. For some, those wishes are as simple as getting the perfect gift for that special someone. For others, those wishes are much bigger. Especially, when they wish for love.
