Lauren Jones didn’t believe in fairy tales. She certainly didn’t believe in Cinderella stories or magic of any kind. After all, she was a hard working single mom with her feet firmly planted on earth. But when she met a drop-dead handsome cowboy at her best friend’s costume ball, her make believe Cinderella costume began to seem like the real thing. It was only when she learned the identity of her mysterious cowboy that she knew the enchantment of the evening was over, permanently, and she fled the ball, losing one of her synthetic glass slippers in the process.

Dusty Mitchell can’t believe it when he realizes his beautiful Cinderella has disappeared. He pursues her to no avail and it’s days later before he tracks her down. Only then does he discover the woman he fell in love with at first sight is none other than the music reviewer who put a curse on his career. Can these two ever find a happy ending?
