How one book can ruin an entire series... I am so disappointed. I fell in love with Travis and Abby's story in Beautiful series. I kept reading Maddox Brothers for more. I LOVED the first books. The characters were well-developed and their struggles were real. There were many inconsistencies in this book with the story in the previous books. Travis was unrecognizable, he preferred to spend time with Liis than be in the hospital with his wife and his newborn son staying in NICU. Previosly, he was afraid of losing Abby, in this book, the feeling between them was nothing like in first books. I almost wished that Abby was killed, because I was so mad at him and wanted him to suffer.
Great story, detailed and heartfelt writing. I cried like a baby. Beautiful ending.
