When I was 13, he stole my heart
When I was 18, he took my innocence
When I was 23, he said he loved me forever
When I was 28, he broke my heart
Now I’m 33… and there’s a knock at the door. He’s back, again. And this time he’s not alone.

😐 not my type of book... even though there’s love, so much trouble, drama, hardships, bad choices 💉💊... I also agree with all 3 comments below 😉

Wow! I'm sorry, but Lily was a doormat. She went through too...much for this man. He kept coming back and forth. And, she took him back every time. Jed was right. Her heart was laid right on the floor to be stomped on. I don't agree with a character being portrayed this weak. But, I guess we need to see how weak some people sacrifice so much no matter how many times they get trampled on. Well, she did get him in the end. Her sacrifices paid off in the end. I couldn't do though. Too much..... for me. I can't fathom going through all of that. I'm surprised she didn't have a nervous breakdown down or turn to drugs herself. She was as weak as him.

Man~ this was a worthy read. I don't like lots of what they did but, in the end it is your life and you are the master of it.
