Victoria’s Revenge by R.G. Winter

Victoria’s mother, Marian Thornton, has been arrested for assault and armed kidnapping. She is placed in a psych ward under armed guard for evaluation, and is heavily sedated to keep her from becoming violent again.
Victoria discovers that her mother has been lying to her all week, and so has Rafael. Her life has become a roller coaster of the highs of new love and the lows of learning the secrets that her father has hidden from her for years.
While searching the police reports and her father’s home office for any information that might shed light on why he committed suicide, she discovers clues that lead her to believe that he was murdered. But no one takes her seriously until she finds the missing key that will change the original ruling of suicide to murder. It will also throw a cloud of suspicion over Rafael and make Victoria question his past.
