Chase was just trying to get to his uncle’s alligator farm in Florida to start a new life. He should have flown instead of taken the bus.

Bruin is a bear-shifter on the outskirts of Grayslake, part of a family den of shifters that oversees the area. When Chase stumbles into his area and sees things he shouldn’t see, it means trouble for everyone, but for Bruin most of all. Worse, the mere touch of Chase causes Bruin to shift, and they both want to do a lot of touching.

Their time stuck in Bruin’s cabin brings them together, but their true natures and family circumstances threaten to keep them apart. Can Bruin and Chase overcome their fears and the opposition keeping them apart? Will Chase be able to touch Bruin without being ripped to shreds by his bear?
