This book irritated the fire out of me with its constant changing tense. From present to past and back again. It's like the author couldn't make up her mind which way she wanted a scene to go, and then she'd change it again just a few sentences later. The whole book was...off. I didn't care for it very much at all. While it had romance, the passion wasn't up to the author's usual standards and the angst was poorly developed. Little to no humor and the drama was a bit drab.
