Also, how come in books when a women has a crying jag, it's always such a neat restrained cry? I mean, if I'm sobbing as hard as she is? There's snot everywhere. There's no way I'm kissing anyone. How come they never need kleenex?
This should actually (in my honest opinion) have been the first book in the series as it talks about the disappearance of Zuri's brother, Jabril who is, in fact the main male character in the FIRST book. His disappearance in this book was already explained in the first book. Uumm...so why is this book 2 and not book 1?
i keep trying to understand her pov, she wanted romance? is that his problem? if that is all she wanted then why not give him the chance at all? all she does is avoidance, her behavior is a contradiction that i cant relate at all and it just makes the storyline irrational and annoying. #dropped #chapter6 #failingme
