A LADY WHO CAN’T BE PROTECTED…

Anna Seaton is a beautiful, talented, educated woman, which is why it is so puzzling to Gayle Windham that she works as his housekeeper.

I'm one of those readers who, once I've started a book, I absolutely have to read it to the end, no matter how good or bad it is. I have to be honest here though. I tried...I mean I really tried reading this series. It was a struggle. Way too wordy, bogged down and gave views from every character. Not many books do that and, unfortunately (in my opinion), it detracted from the potential of being an awesome series. I enjoy a book that tells the point of view from the main characters, but when every character has to be a "main character", it stops being a good book.
