Book 2 of The Honorable Scoundrel series was just as good as Book 1. Eve Potter, the youngest of 3 sisters, was supposed to spend the Christmas holiday with a friend in the country but ended up taking a wrong turn and became stranded at the home of Bryce Harlowe, the Earl of Ravenworth. Bryce had become a recluse due to a scandal he'd been accused of several years before. While a storm caused them to be stranded together in his home, Bryce did everything he could to resist Eve, and she tried to resist him as well, even though the chemistry was high between them. Bryce was worried that, once the storm had cleared and Eve learned of the long-ago scandal, she would turn away from him and, even though he was in love with her, he would let her go. There was enough drama, angst, humor, chemistry, and passion to fulfill most readers' love of romance stories. This was another book to earn its position with the Keeper for the Shelves books.
