Stevie Watson has always known she’d marry Logan Stephens. After all, they’d agreed on it and sealed the deal with a kiss. Sure, they’d had chocolate ice cream smeared on their faces and had recently kicked a shared case of lice, but even at six years old, she’d known he was the boy for her. Only now that Stevie’s pushing thirty, she’s not so sure she wants to ruin what she considers a flawless friendship. Plus, Logan seems content to share a perfectly platonic home with her and her energetic border collie, Bean.

When Stevie joins a local frisbee dog club to help Bean burn extra energy and to check off item number seven on her long-neglected thirtieth birthday bucket list, learn to do something new, she sets her sights on the pretty club captain for Logan. Fixing him up with a wonderful woman will also fulfill list item number one, change someone’s life for the better. Stevie does what she can to push the pair together, but as her birthday looms she finally stops to think about what life will be like without Logan always by her side.
