When his wife leaves him with a four-year-old, Drew Gold doesn’t know how to cope. His home’s a mess, he sleeps when his kid does, and he hasn’t been working. His brother suggests a live-in nanny.
The person to answer his call? Callie Stewart, a girl from his past. The one he used to bully, and now she’s here offering him salvation. She should walk away from him, but she’s not cruel. Taking care of his kid will be a breeze, but will she be able to handle living with her bully?

Drew likes her curves, her smile, her laugh. He doesn’t know how he failed to notice her before, but there’s no doubt he wants her. When an argument between them escalates, the fire burns brighter than ever. One touch is all it takes for both of them to get burned.
Everything Callie thought she knew about Drew comes crashing down around her when his wife comes back to town. Now Callie needs to fight more than ever for the love of her man. He should stand up and fight, but will he realize he’s not in this alone?

I like that the dictates of society are against men hitting women. Still, we need to teach ways in which men can stop women from abusing them without them being accused of being the aggressor. This story, I believe, could have used a way for this guy to sit Tilly on her ass without endangering his freedom. I was waiting for the moment when the h took care of business for him, but I guess they were going for the non-violent approach.

AGREE WITH BUBBLES. Natasha Knight and Lora Leigh have the same issue---same plot, same dynamic, just names and locations and some minor details change.

NK is *always* some naive virginal school girl forced to marry an angry mafioso with family out to undermine him (his family or hers, usually an uncle). Once in awhile she changes it up and makes the girl older, but its the same dynamic every book. LL always has a navy seal turned cop protecting a woman he used to know(or knew and fucked) then she grew up and now she's being stalked

@V Kr: I do not hate her or her books. The only issue I have with her books is that they're ALWAYS the same. She's repeating the same story over and over again only with different character names. Maybe it's just me, but every book of hers that I've read has the same plot. I love the fact that she's writing about curvaceous girls, but then why are always bullied? And most importantly why are they bullied by the townsfolk or the hero? The world is more accepting now of every body type and I think that should translate into her books as well.

I liked it so much 💖💖💖.... And I liked it goes the author took on the Domestic violence topic.... Who says only Women suffers, sometimes even Men does, and that's what no one sees or as Men prefers to say that they are strong.... It's absolutely wrong and should not be hidden....

I disagree with @babessky, same crescent's books are not all about the love dynamic between a bully and his victim, some of her books are also based on plus sized women who are confident and comfortable in their own skin, for someone who has read books mostly based on petite and skinny all her life I find Sam Crescent's books to be refreshing and exciting. She doesn't only focus on one romantic genre but on several others as well.

I'm not saying her books are bad. What I'm saying is that they are formulaic. The storyline is always the same, MCs were classmates in high school. The hero was a part of the popular crew while the heroine was an outcast because of her weight. The hero bullied the heroine by either hitting her or teasing her. Fast forward a few months or even years later the characters meet again and suddenly the hero sees the girl in a different manner and he apologizes for how he treated her. You see how repetitive her books are? Although they are great, I think she needs to write about something else other than bullies that in the end eventually marry their victims. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Agree. I love that her books are based on "real" women and not Barbie's. In the real world women are size 8 and better. Some of these women are women I know in real life making the stories relatable and sexy. I am in the processing of reading this book now, but the other "bully" books have been fun, frustrating, and encouraging. I like Sam's books. The one I read over and over again is "Alpha Bully". They are so young, but there is a lesson in their story.

Her bools are always about an overweight girl who was bullied by the hero when they were younger due to said weight and frankly it's getting kinda boring now.

hi.. i have often read your comments for Sam Crescent..i always wonder why you read the Author's book if hate her characters and story lines. I feel even though you hate her style of writing, you will agree the books are hot. She is not promising you great story.. her tagline say "Spice for real woman". they are literally Book Porn.
