Thanksgiving in this town is a Big Deal. The people come together for a great time. Memories are made, and it’s the best way to kick off the holiday season.
This year, a new member of our community is invited to cater the meal.
I hear she’s a talented chef.
She’s also the most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid eyes on, and her son is quick to steal my heart, too.
But she can’t hide the pain in her eyes.

Coming to Starlight Hills seemed like a good place to start over after my bitter divorce.
I’ve made it a home for me and my young son.
Being invited to cater the town’s community Thanksgiving dinner is a great way for me to meet new people—including the barista of the town’s famous Four Brothers Buzz ‘N’ Brew.
It’s hard for me to let down my guard.
But Tanner’s smile and kind heart make me want to try.
Maybe this Thanksgiving, I’ll find the strength to give love another shot.
