When I came to Frontier, Alaska, I thought I was prepared for the hardships I’d face providing medical care to the surrounding remote villages. As an outsider from the lower forty-eight, I’m met with uncertainty and suspicion by some of the residents. With the help of a handsome pilot, we work to try and find a way to help me gain their trust, otherwise what reason do I have to stay?

Flying has been my one and only love, that is until the new doc stepped onto my plane. The more I get to know her, the deeper I fall. But when I hear that she may have plans to leave, I’m determined to convince her to stay, not only for the villages that need her, but for me too.
