You’d think being the only licensed spell caster in New York City would be an easy gig. I found out quickly that when a council of paranormals decide who can sling spells and who can’t, it’s bad for everyone. Things change when my friend Phil shows up out of the blue, offering to give me a hand. Before I knew it we were caught up in all kinds of skullduggery and backstabbing within the council itself. Someone on the council has it out for me, I’m certain.
As if it wasn’t bad enough, I’m falling in love with a rich dragon shifter, Cason Irons. He’s up to something, I know it. But I’m drawn to him. There’s some force that I can’t see drawing my heart toward his. I’ll have to find a way to satisfy my own desires while also avoiding the ire of the council.
It won’t be easy.
