When rumors that a special announcement will be made at the office holiday party, I’m convinced the promotion I’ve been working for all year is finally going to happen. However, when the news turns out to be the engagement between my ex and the boss’s daughter, my aversion about drinking around colleagues goes up in flames, and I have one too many glasses of wine. The holiday season always brings on an increase in calls, even for a volunteer like me, at the Knight’s Ridge Fire Department. This year is no exception. When we get a call about a fire at a local holiday party in town, we race over to put it out. But when I meet the beautiful fire starter, I can’t get her out of my mind. After fate pushes us together again, it’s clear my burning feelings for her aren’t one-sided. Will the heat between us lead to some sparks under the mistletoe?
