going to grade this on a scale because, despite the name, the author is Indian and she made a genuine effort on language. A couple sentences with missing words and one or two questionable uses of verb. Overall, not terrible.
The story however is a hot confusing mess. The company is successful but not turning expected profits so they bring in Neil to helm an overhaul. Despite this demanding task he has plenty of time to take her shopping and give her involved make over tips. Which begs the question why would a woman ask a man she doesn't know for help being more seductive? She doesn't know him so why would she trust him for something so deeply personal? Also how serious is she when he asks her personal questions relevant to her goal and she tells him all the time its none of his business? He tells her she doesn't have to try being sexy, she all ready is just by being herself. Then in the next paragraph it's 'no don't do that' "don't say that' " don't remind him of that' So is she fine as is or is she doing it wrong, make up your mind!
About her not knowing him is wrong. He is her best friend's brother's bestfriend. So obviously they hung around together
