Samantha:
He’s toxic.
I know I should run, but I can’t help myself.
If only I could ignore his pain, the guilt, the emotions I’m starting to feel.
I almost make it out, but his habits keep bringing me back.

Maxwell:
I have to do better.
She deserves more.
The only person to show me love.
I have to do better. For her.

Rough story with drug abuse, kidnapping and sexual abuse. So much happened to her and it didn't tell of her healing process. Otherwise it was a good book. I just really wanted to see more of her healing process. I'm sure she needed alot of therapy and there was no mention of it.
