His Alone, Book 2 of the For Her series, was about Ryan Justice and Paige Turner. The first time Ryan saw Paige, it was in a photo her father had given him with the instructions to let him know if she ever showed up. Ryan's job was to gather all the information he could on Paige's half-brother, Miles, as well as Paige, and report back to their father. However, Ryan brokered a different deal with her brother so that he could keep them both safe from the man who wanted to do them harm. This story had more suspense than the first book in the series. It had more angst and drama as well. The plot took a lot of turns, some were expected, while others were a bit of a surprise. The emotional rollercoaster had more twists and turns than usual, too Both of the main characters were well-developed and mature, with plenty of room for growth. However, there was way too much inner dialogue and not enough verbal talking. The fluff-n-stuff was overpowering and it took away the enjoyment of reading the story. I only gave this a three-star rating. It needed more work.
Great read. Loved the story but it did feel a little draggy at the start
For Her Series - Book 2..... Another Beautiful n Awesome story 💖💖💖..... Yet I don't like that Heavy Obsession (not my cup of tea)....
The story is great but the format for this book is annoying. I had to click the next button multiple times, instead of jump straight to the chapter tht i currently reading 😒
