😶😶mixed bag, writing is there, but the content is confusing… below comment kinds sums it up… forced/rape but she liked it… he didn’t want to BUT it felt soo good so he enjoyed it instead…. gives him crap but not really, and the plot/drama is just all over the place… In the end her BFF died trying to help save her & she gets a MC HEA…. Honestly- I’d skip it!! 👎👎

He raped her because his president told him to, in the middle of an orgy, while she was being groped by strangers. She was also a virgin. Also, she did not want to be there, she was forcefully taken there, bound and gagged; and the author writes her as just passively accepting all of this. Her reasoning was like she was going to loose her virginity at one point, so this might as well be it. So to be clear, this was not her kink.

And this is the only pathetic attempt the author made to talk about the rape: "“Just like you fucked me against my will, right?” Hallow took offense to that even though he’d just been apologizing. “You’ll get a tattoo. Pretty simple, and tattoos can be removed now.” “I ain’t getting no tattoo.” “Okay, then, but my ass is on the line now. I saved your hide back there.” “Is that all you have to say to me after what just happened?” Hallow steered his eyes away. “Get dressed. I can’t get ahold of Dimple or Riff."" FYI he did not, in any shape or form apologize. It’s like the author forgot what she wrote. No srly, he raped her and then asked if she was hungry after it , and took her to the buffet where: “"A woman laid out on the buffet table covered in Halloween candy.”"
