I guess this is it, huh? After fourteen years together, starting a life of our own on this island, five deployments and countless letters I’ve written you through it all, I finally go out to the mailbox and see something I’ve always dreamed of: an envelope with your handwriting on it. Just finished reading this and omg, one of the best books I've read. I loved it! It was so emotional.
Paused reading this cause I found a blunder in it lol. At one point Lucy says she's 30 and a few chapters further shes describing her mother. Said her parents had her late in their lives, mother 45 and father 51. The next paragraph she says her mom is in her late 60s now, umm no she should be 75.
Cried my eyes out
