Author doesn't know difference between throne and thrown. Oh Boy This heroine was tricked. betrayed, a victim of human trafficking, beaten to the point of incapacitated and barely able to walk; with all this going on, we're supposed to believe shes intrigued and attracted to the alleged hero and not, idk, worried about her own survival. This is the same guy who she believes knocked her unconscious to rape her the first time and left her with nightmares over it. She's so psychologically tormented by what he did to her but wow oh wow he's hot.....back that up a sec, author wants us to believe she has sexual feelings towards the man she believes violated her. Fucking gross. It tried too hard to be too dark. A victim of abuse who is so tormented that she's having nightmares isn't going to wax dreamily on how great sex with the 'hero' is. Author seems to take glee in relating the brutality of certain events. just gross
