I’m Sticks Sterling, VP of the Steel Kings. No one gets by me, least of all a woman.

I found her, gagged and bound, deep in enemy territory. She was at their warehouse, where the Jokers usually play with their prey before making it disappear. Forever.

I rescued her and brought her back to the clubhouse. My innermost sanctum. Only she doesn’t want protection, mine or the Kings. And she claims she has no idea why those bastards took her in the first place.

Yeah, right.

I’ll find out why the Jokers wanted her so bad, and I’ll keep her safe. If it turns out she’s an enemy spy, then I’ll just have to punish her first. She’s mine.
