He claimed me, chained me, and made me his property.

With a single word, Vittorio Contarini made me his property. He made me beg. He made me scream. He made me do things that I never imagined myself ever doing.I should be terrified of him… But can I tell you a secret? What terrifies me isn’t how he takes control of me.It isn’t what he makes me do—both in and out of the bedroom.

It isn’t even the fact that he’s the Don of the most dangerous crime family in all of New York. What terrifies me is that that each time his strong hands touch my body. Each time his hot breath teases at my ear. Each time he makes me submit to his dark desires, I find myself practically begging him for more. And I don’t think I’d ever want him to stop.

This. I really do not know how this was published. It was so... So Poorly written. I mean this guy is supposed to be the biggest baddest crimelord in existence but are you expecting me to believe that his house doesn't have CCTV at AT LEAST the exits/entrances to his homes? Really? And am I supposed to believe that not once did he notice a set of keys and a car was missing? Also did he not think to see that her items in her room were taken as well. I mean honestly, I do not think the rival gangman would allow her a moment to pack her meager belongings.. This was almost as painful to read as those "I'm young so I wanna write the darkest romance erotica possible with my tween-aged virginal mind" Wattpad/Inkk novels... That is why people prefer sites like this for these kinda novels. They just aren't worth even 99 cents on sale...

I've read all 3 of these books so I'll do a bit of pasting my comments since they are all the same.

First book, "Claimed": This book was a complete joke. I've read so many dark romance books and the quality of this one is at the bottom of the scale. A girl gets abducted then sold to a Don mafia man. Wouldn't you think she'd be terrified out of her mind? Not really. She's described as chunky and "cute" yet this savage Don wants her. Seriously? Totally unbelievable. Once she's at his home she begins a regular conversation with him, admiring his penthouse and goes on a tour with him. She babbles on and on like a teenager, not remotely understanding she's been bought and will become a sex slave. By the way, she's a virgin and gives it up without hesitation and seems to be quite knowledgeable of all things sexual. This was such a disappointment. So unrealistic and totally stupid.

2nd book "Chained": Actually the same as the first book only it gets worse. Sharon is still so naive about her situation and loves every minute of her new life. Although Vittorio is a mobster, we hear next to nothing about his involvement and dubious lifestyle. We're told in the first book he's a savage beast showing no mercy to his enemy but....nothing happens.

I found myself speed-reading through the chapters because each one was so repetitive. I recommend not wasting your time with these books.
