Mia: I’ve caught a dragon.
He’s huge, silvery and so beautiful it physically hurts.
Or maybe that’s just my urge to run away from such a deadly creature.
But a sudden, icy blizzard is raging outside on this dinosaur-infested planet, and I’m stuck with this, our worst enemy.
I’ve bound him with steel wire, but if he snaps them I think I might be in for a world of hurt. He’s naked, and he has some very alien and extremely male features.
He can try what he wants. I have my crossbow. It’s on a hair trigger.
And it’s loaded for dragon.

Kyandros: That round little female bound me.
And now she’s just sitting there.
The insanity! Can’t she see that I will murder her the first chance I get?
I can’t tolerate this indignity. The moment I get loose, I’ll have my fun with her quite fetching body.
Then I will leave her as a red splotch on the snow.
A dragon’s revenge is always death.

This is book #10 in the caveman series and I have read all of them so far, this one I would say was my least favourite. Not because is was a dragon this time because I was hoping she would add this love story into the series, the concept of perfect and executed wonderfully. My only thing was I feel like comparatively the love story just wasnt as good as the 9 other before it. I feel keeping to the the heart (or lack there of) of the dragon was what really help her back in making a more in-depth/expansive/involved love story. Its there but its not THERE like with the only stories I've come to love.
