This is without a doubt, one of the GREATEST books Ruby has ever written! I've never laughed and genuinely sobbed over characters in a book before! I love that it wasn't an insta-love, but a super slow burn. Major character change and growth, and a brilliant overall story line! WOW! 10/10 would recommend!

Fab. Ruby dixon's books are usually short sweet and sexy. This one was much longer and soooo worth it. Loved it.

I should also mention that the description completely inaccurate. These story is about a women, faith, that goes to check a noise from her supposedly uninhabited neighbors apartment. She then flashes through a portal/tear in between worlds. She ends up on the planet/world Aos. This world is medieval/ancient Greek and Roman. They have many gods that stand for different part of life (god of the death, god battle, god of home, god of magic, ect). She, faith, is lost and confused subsequently wandering somewhere she shouldn't. Gets capture and enslaved then is given as a sacrifice to the god of battle and storms. They, faith and aron, are trust together in a world they both have no knowledge of and have to figure out how to survive together while a whole shit load of people try to kill them. They do NOT roam the galaxy. There is NO ship. Space travel is NO where in this novel. Think Hercules on a quest but he's a dick and has a mouthy female companion.

120% loved this. The blurb on here and the cover dont actually do the story justice. Ignor those and ignor any previous notions about books you've read from this author. Even when it's slow in the beginning it's not boring. It's balances the slow burn of a romance with plot and intrigue. Yes, things are left out. Yes, could it have been more descriptive. Yes, I want more. Buuuuutt it was 85 chapters, short to medium sized ones, but 85 chapters nonetheless. If you are looking for a medieval fantasy romance and don't mind blood shed, cursing up a storm (pun intended), and an arrogant dominate male with equally dominate sarcastic female, then I think you should probably read this.
