That was concerning in many ways. I kept reading it but to be honest I wish I had gotten the signs that this would be problematic. It’s a series of violation of consent even if dubious consent for the most part. It’s sexual violence and violation of her body for the most part. They drugged her and perfomed a c-section when all she had was contractions, they could have asked and informed her of it. I don’t lime reading about it at all and I wish there was a trigger warning. I don’t say it’s wrong to enjoy it, but I personally hated how many things were depicted here and I wished I could go back in time.
Okay, my main problem with this novella is this: they purchase her as a slave, and even though on their planet slavery is illegal, they continue to treat her like a sex slave since technically they're not ON their planet (good guys, huh? How can you not like male characters such as these two?) So they call her a slave, threaten her and fuck her knowing that she thinks she has no other choice but to let them use her body since she's a mere sex slave. Tell me how that's not fucked up. This is rape. Renee Rose really should include warnings in her book descriptions. Like a heads up would have been nice: "hey reader, if you don't consider rape a turn on don't read this book."
