Spent my adult life so far moving around, chasing employment, doing work that I hate.
Except for my very first. job, where I met my first serious crush.
A slightly older man… funny, built, sexy and smart. Too bad I was too shy to let on how I felt about him.
That was years ago but I still think of him all the time.
These days I’m lonely, broke, still a shy, anxious person and frankly…? I think I must be the oldest virgin in town.
Now I’m stranded in my rust-bucket, in a blizzard, on the busiest freeway in North America.
I could really use a miracle about now.

Brad
The harder you work, the luckier you get. That’s always been my mission in life and it’s served me well.
But there are things more precious than money. And time waits for no man.
My one regret? Falling for a younger woman, and letting her slip away.
Given a second chance to claim her, I’d never let her go.

If romance is champagne, this is lukewarm tap water. Story wasn't awful, didn't drag on for 50 chapters, just limp and no sizzle.
