Frankly, I was scared of him at first.
Beowulf was big, ruthless, and President of an outlaw Motorcycle Club.
It was absolutely wrong to fall into his bed.
His wife was dying, and I was her best friend.
Beowulf stole my heart while I consoled him.
While I supported his teenage daughter.
But grief wasn’t our only problem.
An enemy was a part of our inner circle.
And Beowulf needed to find him before he harmed his daughter.
Or me.
Being a team in the midst of danger would be hard.
