you know I absolutely HATE and avoid enemies to lovers/school bully trope ‘cause man I fucking hate it but I thought at least for once let me give this one a chance….never have i read an author that handles such sensitive topics in such a CARELESS manner..yea the content is the there but the writing and plot progression is so horrible and in some instances it’s like she was just throwing words together to fill out this goddamn book🤦🏾🤦🏾lotta triggers in the book you know from physical abuse to sexual assault to bullying to suicidal thoughts etc..I truly hate how she writes them out with zero sensitivity like??? and quick someone tell me how do you and I quote “ I took her face in my hands and held her gaze. She still trembled. Shock prevented her from screaming for help. Even though I looked her straight in the eyes, I had the feeling that she didn't really see me. That her mind was somewhere else. Then it suddenly all made sense. Of course. How could I not have seen that right away? She had been raped. Someone had taken by force what did not belong to him.” ???? all from looking into her eyes bro?💀💀shitty writing at its highest form.
