Missy: I hate my stepbrother. Trevor’s rude, arrogant, and conceited, not to mention the fact that he acts like he’s the hottest guy on Earth. (Okay, so maybe he is a ten out of ten, but still, he doesn’t have to act like it.) The problem? We met at a party a while back before we knew we were slated to be related. It almost sounds like a sick joke (or a bad pun), but now we know each other in a way that’s totally inappropriate.
Trevor: My stepsister Missy is new to all this. Sure, the way we met wasn’t exactly “normal,” but people meet in all different ways now, all of them legitimate. (Take Tinder, Grindr, and the billions of matchmaking services out there as an example). Why does it matter how you meet someone? All that matters is that you connect, and Missy and I definitely felt something go off like a fireball. The problem is that my stepsister also has morals (so inconvenient sometimes). She’s sweet and innocent, and doesn’t want to acknowledge that we’ve already blown through every barrier that exists before man. But Missy’s kidding herself if she thinks I’m letting her get away because I haven’t even come close to forgetting about last night.

About Last Night, Book 1 of the Naughty Relations mini-series, was about 20-year-old Missy Baker, a college student, and 30-plus-year-old Trevor Ellis, a billionaire race car driver. Trevor and Missy met at a sex party where she willingly relinquished her innocence to him. They only exchanged first names. Missy had pointed out her BFF to him, so when she fell asleep after multiple O's, he hunted the BFF down, gave her a key to the room where Missy had fallen asleep, and asked where Missy lived. When the BFF refused to tell him, he asked when the next sex rave would be and the address, and he made certain the BFF promised to make sure Missy would be there, but not to tell her that HE would be too. Two weeks later, Trevor and Missy met again, this time it was at the engagement brunch for her mother to his father. When they realized they were about to become step-siblings, they each had a different reaction. Missy was horrified, but Trevor was still determined to have her for his own. This story was quite enjoyable. It had plenty of angst and drama, but the spice was off the charts. There was the typical emotional rollercoaster with twists and turns to keep the reader glued to the pages. There was also the added drama of their respective parent to contend with. Both main characters were fully developed and mature, with plenty of room for growth. While Trevor was a professed (former) manwh*re, one look at Missy was as if a switch had been flipped and he was no longer interested in anyone else. Granted, he had stated early in the story that he had become disillusioned with all the women who had been throwing themselves at him, but Missy just solidified his resolve. This story was so good that I gave it a five-star rating.
